DESCRIPTION:The City of New Braunfels invites everyone to ring in the holiday season on Friday\, November 16th with the arrival of Santa Claus beneath a hundred thousand twinkling lights in historic downtown New Braunfels. The dazzling display of low energy and sustainable LED lights stretches through downtown and will remain lit for the holiday season. \nThe community is invited to join in the ceremony and countdown to the illumination\, where Mayor Barron Casteel will “flip the switch” to officially light downtown and Santa will arrive on a vintage fire truck. The evening will kick off at 6:00 p.m. with music provided by the Comal Community Band. Holiday treats and pictures with Santa on the bandstand will be available for purchase from the New Braunfels Downtown Association. Picture with Santa will be $10.00\, cash only.
