Live From Downtown: Knotty Grove’s Tribute to Bob Seger
April 14 @ 7:30 pm
Detroit rocker Bob Seger was raised on the early hits of Motown as well as the British Invasion groups like the Beatles, Rolling Stones and the Animals. He combined these two genres and created a Midwest sound that was relatable by both young and old audiences. When he recorded his classic album Live Bullet in 1975 at Detroit’s Cobo Hall, it captured the sound of him and his famous Silver Bullet Band. His Night Moves album in 1976 pushed him to superstar status where he remained until officially retiring in 2018. Local classic rock band Knotty Grove have honed their musical chops for several years now and have perfected the sound of Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band.
