DESCRIPTION:Growing up in the birthplace of Elvis Presley gave Paul Thorn his love of country rockabilly music at an early age. He also discovered he was good at boxing and chose that career path first. After getting knocked out by Roberto Duran on national TV\, Thorn thought changing careers might be a good choice. While playing at a local pizza parlor in Tupelo\, he was discovered by Miles Copeland\, brother of Stewart Copeland\, drummer of the rock band The Police. Within three months\, Thorn was on tour opening for Sting. Thorn is a master storyteller and could easily have another career as a standup comedian. His last performance at the Brauntex was a solo acoustic show in April 2019. This time he’s bringing his full band.
