Artimus Pyle, original drummer for Lynyrd Skynyrd, formed his own band of ace musicians to pay tribute to the late Ronnie Van Zant. Artimus, a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and one of only two survivors of the tragic plane crash that took the life of Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines and his sister Cassie. After the crash, Artimus crawled from the wreckage and ran for help. Artimus and his band tour the country sharing their love of the first five Lynyrd Skynyrd albums that featured the music of Ronnie Van Zant.
