SUMMARY:Keith Kallina Duo
DESCRIPTION:Based in the Texas Hill Country\, Keith Michael Kallina\, was raised in the tradition of small-town Texas life. Music was always present in the home\, and healthy dose of classic rock from his father and country from his mother made for a variety of influences onto his musical palette. Leaving the comfort and security of his hometown at 18\, Keith indulged in satisfying a strong sense of wanderlust that pulled him around the country. Coast to coast and all the way up to the northern American border\, he explored his freedom\, as well as his senses\, all in a search for direction that would ultimately come in the form of playing music. In the years that followed\, no audience was too small or too far away. Before long\, Keith had built a reputation along his circuit as a talented and hardworking songwriter. But as long stretches of time on the road began to take its toll\, Keith fell victim to some of the same pitfalls as many of his hero’s before him. In 2015\, Keith stumbled into the realization that the only way to continue to pursue his passions in life would be through sobriety\, and to date has not had a drink since.

At 27 years young\, Miller has had the opportunity to share bills with big names like Ray Wylie Hubbard\, The Wood Brothers\, Jason Boland\, and many more. Some of his accolades include being a winning finalist in the Kerrville Folk Festival’s university songwriting competition and being named “Artist of the Month’ by the Austin Music Foundation\, both of which he achieved while earning his degree at The University of Texas in Austin. His debut EP\, released on 11/12/2020\, has drawn praise from Country and American Roots music fans and critics alike. With a full-length record on the way\, you can expect more from Miller in the near future.

SUMMARY:Passing Strangers
DESCRIPTION:John Boyd is the lead singer and founder of the San Antonio-based band 80’s and 90’s tribute band Passing Strangers who have graced the Texas club scene for more than 30 years. They play everything from Jessie’s Girl to Third Eye Blind and are often referred to as “a band version of Spazmatics.” The band is perhaps most well-known for its electronic remake of Gary Wrightʼs “Dream Weaver” from their debut EP “Moment In Time.” This song was a club hit and added to radio across the U.S. and parts of Europe. John Boydʼs voice has been compared to the likes of Jeff Buckley\, and U2’s Bono. Passing Strangers was an active part of the Dallas music community for 14 years\, and the Boulder/Denver music scene for 3 years. After five albums\, two decades of frequent performances\, tours of the U.S.\, and shows overseas\, John returned to the home of his childhood in the San Antonio/Austin area in 2010. In 2013 he teamed up with co-writer and guitarist Ray Tamez\, and producer Mattson Rainer (from KNBT) for his first John Boyd solo album entitled “Passing Strangers and Funny People.”

We are based in San Antonio\, but we can travel to surrounding areas to meet your needs. The Court Jesters play for civic functions\, company/corporate parties\, benefits\, holiday parties\, reunions\, birthdays\, graduations\, or any other similar gathering.

DESCRIPTION:South Texas born and raised\, Bill Ayers has always had a passion for music. Began singing when he was young\, but didn’t take it seriously until 2008 when he began playing a few small acoustic shows before forming the Bill Ayers Band in 2010. “ I have a big influence from classic country artists such as Jones\, Twitty\, and Strait\, but have always had a soft spot for classic rock and the Texas music scene. It shines through when we perform”. The Bill Ayers Band started in August of 2010. The band’s members are as diversified as the music that they create\, establishing a type of Texas Music that brings people back to the live music scene.
