Gary Morris

Gary Morris, a native of Ft Worth, has enjoyed a long and successful career in music. He got his start singing in nightclubs when he moved to Denver, Colorado with two college friends. They formed a trio and started singing around town. In 1976 he was hired to perform for Jimmy Carter’s presidential campaign. He was discovered by a Nashville agent and signed to a record deal. One of his first singles was the hit song, Wind Beneath My Wings. It launched his career into the big leagues and he never looked back. His singing career led to performing in the Broadway musical Les Misérables. Later he performed in the Puccini opera La Boheme with Linda Ronstadt. For many years he hosted his own TV show, North American Sportsman, on the Nashville network. Gary recently announced his retirement from touring at the end of 2023. His Brauntex show will be an acoustic retrospective of his entire career.
