“Gild the Lily” is an old idiom that describes the process of adorning or embellishing something that is already beautiful or already perfect.

Our name and culture is derived from this idiom because we wholeheartedly believe that every single person is beautifully made. Our services are here to enhance your beauty.

Bringing a high-end, white-glove salon culture and environment for our guests and team members is of the utmost importance and something we strive to cultivate every single day.

Our co-founders grew up in New Braunfels, but like so many small town kids, left to pursue careers in big cities from LA, Austin to NYC. Ten years later, they moved back to open Gilded Hair Salon in order to bring those trendy-city vibes back to their hometown. Gilded provides guests with the high-end hair trends and techniques that you’d expect in any “it” city.

Our salon is an education salon meaning that our stylists never stop learning. The hair industry is ever changing, so it is imperative that our stylists stay at the forefront of these trends to provide our guests optimal results.
