Grand Ole Opry member Mark Wills rose from performing at Atlanta’s renowned Buckboard to become a country music sensation, releasing 19 Billboard-charting singles across seven albums. Hits like “Wish You Were Here,” “Jacob’s Ladder,” and “I Do (Cherish You)” solidified his status in the late ’90s and early ’00s. His debut single, “Jacob’s Ladder,” marked the beginning of eight Top 10 hits, followed by a self titled album praised for its emotive baritone delivery. Wills’ chart-topping success garnered him an Academy of Country Music Award. Notably, his RIAA Gold-certified “19 Somethin’” topped the charts for six weeks. In 2022, he collaborated with Home Free on a re-recorded version of “Don’t Laugh at Me,” accompanied by a music video that earned three Gold Telly Awards. Beyond music, Wills has made numerous trips to entertain U.S. troops. With his high-energy performances, he continues to captivate audiences with the timeless hits that define country music.
