Gilded Hour Theatre Company is proud to launch our inaugural production — Love Letters by A.R. Gurney — as the first step in our broader vision of bringing quality theatre across the greater San Antonio region, including New Braunfels, Boerne, and Bulverde. This debut production will be presented here in New Braunfels, made possible through the generous support of our location sponsor, The Downtown Room, located above the Phoenix Saloon.
Love Letters by A. R. Gurney is a tender, two-person play that follows the lifelong connection between Melissa and Andrew, told entirely through the letters they exchange over decades. From childhood notes to adult reflections, their correspondence reveals a deep, evolving bond shaped by love, missed opportunities, and the paths their lives take apart and together.
Love Letters runs May 22–24 and May 29–31, 2026. Tickets are available at gildedhourtheatre.com/shows. All proceeds support Gilded Hour Theatre Company’s nonprofit launch and future programming in New Braunfels, San Antonio, and beyond.
