Breaking: Portion of Comal River Closed Due to Downed Tree

Earlier this afternoon, recreation on the Comal River in New Braunfels was closed due to a downed tree. The river is currently open up to the Garden Street exit, and will reopen once the obstruction is completely removed. Crews are currently on the scene.
