Bucksnort Boogie Boys is an Americana Roots string band comprised of a hillbilly, a big city refugee, a lovebird wrangler, and a metal artist. The “Boys” all share a love of great music, whether they write the song or someone else did. The audience can expect to hear a mix of tunes from the band’s extensive catalog of original music, along with some surprising selections from other artists that are sure to bring a smile!

John Boyd is the lead singer and founder of the San Antonio-based band 80’s and 90’s tribute band Passing Strangers who have graced the Texas club scene for more than 30 years. Walt Harfmann, born in St. Louis, Missouri, on the mostly German “south side”. He has played on stage many times with Grammy winner “America’s Polka King” Frank Yankovic, Grammy winner “Canada’s Polka King" Walter Ostanek, as well as many Polka leaders in the USA over the years. His music includes German, Austrian, Czech, Slovenian, Croatian, Swiss, Polkas and Waltzes, Kolos, Boarischers, etc! Having traveled extensively in Europe many times he has added many historic European songs to his list!
