Both New Braunfels and Canyon Lake ranked 14th and 9th, respectively, in niche.com’s 2015 Best Places poll of Towns with the Best Public Schools in Texas. The site rankings take into account the grades of all the public schools of the districts that serve this area and weights each school’s score by the number of students the school serves. The site graded 3,964 Texas towns, and ranked 2,550.
