The City of New Braunfels Parks and Recreation Department is conducting a master planning process for the beloved Landa Park and Arboretum.
The design team will work to develop the plan through October of 2016 using a multi-faceted strategy, including collaboration with the Master Plan Steering Committee, a stakeholder group and the general public.
Among other areas that will be addressed during the process are key concerns outlined in the adopted 2010 New Braunfels Strategic Parks and Recreation Master Plan such as improving wayfinding signage, arboretum tree health and preservation, traffic and pedestrian safety and circulation, parking, and refurbishment of key structures and facilities.
Recently, a public input meeting was held, with consultants Asakura Robinson of Houston leading the presentation.
