This weekend, the inaugural Texas River Fest descends upon New Braunfels, with the majority of the festival’s activities taking place in downtown. The Texas River Fest is mainly comprised of two components: Music, and river.
The $25 White wristband(available at the festival) will get you in to all official Texas River Fest venues for a lineup of bands that includes 45 acts over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Featured acts include, Henry + The Invisibles, The Tontons, Parker McCollum, and Matthew Logan Vasquez. Check out the full lineup and schedule in the graphic below.
The (sold out) $50 Blue wristband includes all the music festivities above, and also throws in a float on the Comal on Friday, and a second river option for Saturday. Original scheduled as a Guadalupe River float on Saturday, due to the rains over the past few weeks, blue wristband holders will have the option to have a second float on the Comal River for free, or there are now some upgrade options. With higher output flows from the Canyon Dam come white water rapids on the Guadalupe river, currently flowing at over 4,000 CFS (cubic feet per second). So for (a discounted) $26 per person, and a flat $50 guide fee, Blue wristband holders can take advantage of a rare whitewater float on the Guadalupe River. Blue wristband holders may also upgrade to a day at Schlitterbahn for only $26, as well!
All wristbands include shuttle transportation between the rivers, Gruene, and Downtown New Braunfels.
