Neal McCoy

Country singer Neal McCoy hails from Jacksonville, Texas where he was raised by his Filipino American mother and Irish American father. Like many country singers, Neal got his start singing in church. In 1981 he won a national talent contest hosted by Janie Fricke. This led to a chance to open for Charley Pride. With Charley as his mentor, Neal started pursuing a career in country music. After signing with Atlantic Records in 1990, he released his first album titled At This Moment. After 30 years in the business, Neal is still considered one of the most exciting entertainers in country music. He made his first appearance on the Brauntex stage in June of 2021 and we are happy to welcome him back.
